Members of SCUMA from Mississippi, Florida and Alabama enjoyed a vibrant, engaging and inspirational keynote delivered by Martha Kotite, former captain, US Coast Guard. Martha pulled from the lessons she learned serving for 29 years in the Coast Guard leading her shipmates at sea and ashore to develop her Rules of Engagement (ROE). Her stories of grit and out-of-the-box thinking illustrated how her ROE influenced positive change and saved lives.
Credit union executive managers and branch leaders learned how to face complex challenges, find actionable solutions and realize mission success collaborating during three activities with their shipmates to create their own unique Rules of Engagement Survival Plan, defining how they will Be Bold, Be First and Be You – their authentic selves. In this age of uncertainty, their ROE plan will help them lead their members and shipmates to realize their full potential no matter what the next storm brings.
“Motivational and mind-opening!” “Absolutely great!”
